We will do this by empowering 1 Million Career Women of African descent by 2035 with the Mindset, Education, Inspiration and Community required to birth their ‘MORE’, even with their full-time jobs....whilst being an influential pillar in their homes, workplaces and communities.

We are all laden with gifts, and the identification and purposeful use of our gifts is the spark that starts the fire of transformation in our lives and the lives of those tied to us.
We believe in the power of fervent prayer, intentional action and generosity to change situations as we journey to emerge as an Uncommon Woman – a woman of skill, strength and substance.
For those of us privileged to be wives and/or mothers, we are clear that marriage and motherhood are not our purpose. They are part of our design and we will do them excellently. However, we have a higher purpose and assignment…finding and living it is our ultimate goal.

Iphie Chuks-Adizue
Founder of the Uncommon Woman Movement.
Ifeoma Chuks-Adizue, fondly known as Iphie, is the visionary behind The Uncommon Woman Movement and embodies the very essence of the initiative. A multifaceted leader—wife, mother, career professional, entrepreneur, coach, author, and minister, she is wildly passionate about helping women, especially Career Women find themselves and unleash their full potentials in such a way that profits them, impacts the world and glorifies God.
As a Career professional, Iphie is the Executive Director Commercial at CAP PLC and she enjoys leading business growth and making sure more people truly enjoy what they do at work. She serves on the Board of FINCA Micro-Finance Bank Nigeria, an organisation focused on catalyzing economic growth and financial inclusion for the world’s poor.
Iphie is also the recipient of several awards, the most recent being the Exceptional Leader of Excellence Award from the Global Women Economic Forum.
But like she likes to point out ‘‘I was not always as put together as this…”
Here is her story….
‘’In 2005, I started my career journey as a bright-eyed young girl at Procter and Gamble Nigeria, looking to change the world. Somewhere in between trying to juggle work, marriage & motherhood, I lost ME. I lost my faith, my can-do fearless spirit, my dreams and even worse, I lost my ability to dream.
I got tossed around by life for a few years until I decided it was best, I resign as I had not been promoted since I started my career. The truth though was that I simply could not recognize this version of Ifeoma and I wanted to just crawl into a hole and hide.
My husband was so worried but could not help me. It was clear that I needed to help myself but I did not know how…
Everything changed after I survived an ectopic pregnancy in March 2010, and I asked God the question – Why save me? What would you have me do with my life now? Ideas came…VERY crazy ideas!
As I implemented these ideas, by the end of 2012, I had gotten promoted at work and also started my 1st successful side-business, a business I grew to $100,000 by its 3rd year whilst still working my full-time job.
Since then, I have written 2 books – The Uncommon Woman & Made for MORE. With the support of a small but mighty team, I run the Uncommon Woman Movement – a platform that teaches Career Women desiring MORE from life how to identify their purpose and live it fully within and beyond their full-time jobs, yet without dropping the ball at work or in their homes.
In my career, I have grown from that mid-level manager role I got promoted into in 2012 to a C-Suite Executive. Today, I lead the Commercial function at Chemical and Allied Products Plc, where together with an amazing team of heroes, we have grown the business 2.9x over the last 3 years…and ain’t no stopping us!!
I’m still wife to same man😝, but now mom to 3 teenagers. HELP!!! 😂😂
So, what makes me tick?
1. LIVING A LIFE OF PURPOSE. I live everyday with a desire to make God proud. I want to achieve ALL He had in mind when He created me…and in such a way that will cause people to ask me how I do it, so I can gladly tell them about Him.
2. GROWTH. I believe that when people and organizations grow, their families, communities and even the nation grows. I believe in superlative growth all-round because Africa is so behind, and we really need to catch up.
3. LEADERSHIP. I want people to wake up excited about work, whether it’s a full-time job or purpose work or both. I want them to wake up excited and ready to make things happen – not just because they love what they do but because they understand WHY, they love those they work with/for, AND most importantly, they love who they are becoming!’’
